This ensures uniform shade over the area to be covered, reducing interior temperature and daytime evaporation, which translates into lower water consumption.

Types of raffia for greenhouses staking

Currently, different types of meshes are available in the market to control excess sunlight, depending on their color. Green nets increase the temperature of the crop but to a lesser extent than black ones. They increase chlorophyll production in plants, and due to their green hue, the visual impact is less intense than if it were a lighter color. White meshes are in the middle, as the temperatures generated inside are cool and relatively controllable, sunlight does not directly affect the plants, but the visual impact is much greater.
