All farmers in hot climates know that their herd loses kilos by being in direct sun during the hottest hours of the day, water stress is one of the causes of economic losses since the animal does not eat much and does not efficiently transform into meat or milk, the foods you do eat. For the livestock and tropical business to function well and be profitable as it is in more temperate climates, the herd must be allowed to convert what it eats into kilos of salable meat or milk in the shortest possible time and this will be possible only by providing rest areas in the shade for the animals to rest during peak heat hours, if there are not very leafy trees to protect themselves, shading modules for livestock will have to be installed, these can be mobile or permanent (depending on the type and rotation of each paddock).
