Beach architecture in tropical Latin America uses many palm leaf roofs, commonly called palapa , to resist winds and hurricanes very frequent both on the Atlantic side and on the Pacific side, these leaves are kept in place using BAXTOP ® nets of 10x10cm or 5x5cm nets.
