Supporting your crops®
Screen of Green (SCROG) and Sea of Green (SOG) are plant training techniques that utilize tutor netting as a tool to keep the plants as straight as possible, allowing for a uniform light exposure and flower bud maturity.
SCROG netting and SOG netting by HORTOMALLAS is available both in 25x25cm mesh sizes or in 15x17cm meshes. Nets are available in 1000m and 1500m rolls . MallaJuana is the perfect SCROG net as for a few cents per meter will provide labor savings during plant training and support, and reduce the risk of mechanically spreading phyto-pathogens during the phases necessary to guide a plant. The net is used as a passive plant support, whereby stems and branches are either confined by its meshes or supported avoiding the plant from leaning towards the ground.
Hortomallas has been in the SCROG netting business for more than 20 years, our specialization is reflected and approved by many universities and academics worldwide.
